Fred Peña

Founder & Investigation Strategist

  • Fred started his career in 2001 with the Sonoma County Probation Department as a Juvenile Correctional Counselor. He then graduated from Sonoma State University where he majored in Criminal Justice and a minor in Mexican American Studies.
  • He then was hired by the Sonoma County Sheriff’s office as a Correctional Officer. Which led to him Joining Santa Rosa Police Department as a Police Officer in 2005.
  • He had the opportunities to become a POST certified Firearms Instructor, POST certified Arrest and Control Instructor, Force Options Simulator Instructor, BPAD Evaluator, member on the Mobile Support Team, and year K9 Handler with a apprehension and narcotics Dog.
  • He currently and have been for the past 11 years Adjunct Faculty at The Santa Rosa Junior College. He teaches at the Public Safety Training Center, Arrest and Control, Use of Force, PC 832 Powers of Arrest, PC 832 Firearms, POST Arrest and Control Instructor Course.
  • He attended and completed the POST Background Investigator Course and has a Masters of Arts Degree in Organizational Leadership.
